Minot Beach House:
A coastal Victorian Reimagined
Where history meets modern family life in Scituate, MA.
Just steps from the water in Scituate’s Minot Beach neighborhood, this century-old Victorian had plenty of charm — and plenty of challenges. It was dark, chopped up, and showing its age. The family loved the character of the home but needed it to reflect how they actually live today.
At ArnoldAnd, we reimagined the house from the inside out — keeping its historic spirit intact while giving it more space to breathe. The result is a transformation that celebrates natural light, flow, and connection — both to the outdoors and to each other.
- A reoriented circulation path that creates openness and ease
- A striking steel-and-glass wine cellar anchoring the ground floor
- A double-sided fireplace connecting the music room and the porch
- Updated materials that balance warmth, history, and modern texture
The Minot Beach House reflects ArnoldAnd’s approach: architectural sensitivity paired with fresh ideas. It’s not just a renovation — it’s a reintroduction.
